Alright, so I have one of the new aluminum MacBooks. I want to get a 22 inch monitor (thinking about the HP w2207) so I can have a dual monitor setup.

I plan on using Parallels to run Windows XP on the Macbook and Leopard on the 22 inch monitor.

Here is my question: I read that the native resolution for the w2207 is 1680 x 1050. The highest resolution the Macbook I have can only go up to 1280 x 800 though.

What does this mean? Can I still get a dual monitor setup?

Any and all help appreciated, thanks!

Your Mac's Specs
15.4" MBP, 2.4ghz Penryn, OSX 10.5.6, 200gb HDD, 4gb ram; 32gb iPod Touch
It'll work fine. When you go into the Display settings, you'll be able to select the resolutions for each monitor separately. Enjoy!
