I am new the this forum so maybe this has already been discussed, but I am currently running a dell with XP, many of my friends have macs and I fallen in love them, so the plan is to get one of the new macbooks (aluminum ones). My big question is can I run dual dell 19" monitors off of it?? This would be running the monitors with the lid of the laptop closed? Thanks for your help.

You can run one external monitor from a MacBook, closed lid or open lid. There is only one mini display output port.

Regards.

Most laptops (not all) will only allow one externally connected monitor to be connected.

You can buy a USB VGA adapter, however the resolution and refresh rates are poor.
