As soon as I boot up I get an error message stating:

Internet connect:
The selected communication device does not exist. Please verify your settings and try again.

Airport Utlility.app cannot find any Apple wireless devices and I cannot connect to my preferred network.

Everything worked fine yesterday :(

Airport Express or Extreme? Try resetting whichever one you have. Also make sure the net signal is OK - that is, the broadband signal. (check with your ISP) If you have another router laying around, substitute it for the Apple AE.

Regards.
