Remote problem at setup with iTunes

I finally got around to downloading the Remote app and based on the video on the Apple website iTunes should automatically bring up a screen asking for the 4 digit code....iTunes is not bringing up that screen it stays on the iPhone info screen when I click on the iPhone device option.....any help???

Do you have WiFi turned on? If so, you should see your iPhone listed under devices in the sidebar.
