Can anyone tell me (without getting too technical) how I can open a document written with Windows Publisher on a Mac?

MS doesn't even make a viewer for Publisher files in Windows, much less one for OS X & Linux.

The creator of the publisher files will have to save them in a format that others can open such as pdf or tiff.
