left click on trackpad doesnt work all that often now

Hey fellas,

Had this macbook for just over a year (no more warranty) and left click works at times, then other times it seems like i want to smash the thing in order to get it to work. I switched over to a usb mouse for now but would like to get this fixed. Anyone have an easy fix? besides bringing it to someone else.

I sometimes have problems with the trackpad when I reboot from Boot Camp Windows, I can't tap with it (although I can click by pressing it) .. I always solve it by going to the Trackpad preference panel in Sys. Prefs. and unchecking/checking the settings .... any chance this might help?
