Uploading vids to Youtube?

I'm trying to upload a vid to youtube and it's taking forever. It's been uploading for almost an hour now and it's only a small 2 minute clip. Is there something that could be wrong with the conversion coming from a Macbook?

Doesn't sound likely. Are you experiencing any slow down in other traffic? Can you browse YouTube okay?

YouTube seems a little slower than normal for me right now. It may be because it is Friday night.

That could be, traffic on other sites is decent. I haven't tried browsing in youtube though.


I restarted the download with there beta uploader and it went alot faster. Just waiting for it to be processed.

Out of curiosity, what beta uploader? Does that run under OS X?

I think the beta loader uses Java to upload and the old uploader uses html to upload. I normally get better upload speeds using the beta/java uploads
