Happily connected my TimeCapsule, all lights green, and back up is running and running for two days now (180 Gb), IS IT A JOKE, can i use TC as ordinary exter hard, can i disable TimeMashine and use TC as w-less hard drive

The initial setup is the only one that takes very long. Just connect it directly to time machine for the first backup and after that you should be fine. And yes, you can use it as a wireless hard drive.

180GB is a lot of data and if the connection is slow, it's going to take a long time. Be patient.

Thanks for responses

Now, after connecting router to TC and TC to computer, it did the job in 6~7 hours. Should i delete old back up to save space , first one is 170Gb 43,755 items and the other 122Gb 33.463 items
