Hi everyone, my CD/DVD drive is empty and wont allow me to insert a cd/dvd into it. I have pressed eject and restarted a number of times but it doesn't want to play the game.

Has anyone got any advice besides pulling it apart or taking it back to where i bought it?

Cheers.

Restart the computer as it is booting up on the grey screen, hold down the mouse button, this will eject all media from the superdrive.

Well if I am understanding you correctly you can't slide the c/d into the slot. Well I had that problem a few weeks ago and I couldn't get the c/d to go in, it was like pushing back. Well I turned the computer off and then when I pressed the button to start it up again I gently pushed the c/d into the iMac slot and it went right in, no problem. Let us know if this worked for you.

Neither of those suggestions worked, but thanks anyway.
I think it may be a job for the technicians....
