Was just wondering would it be a wise idea to preorder tiger os x for my iBook?

Where is the best place to preorder??

You can't pre-order it yet.

No one knows the date of release, it hasn't been announced yet. The only thing Apple has said is first half of 2005.

If I were a betting man, I'd expect June.

Anyway, I say just buy it right now and enjoy it until Tiger is released.

Good luck with that considering Apple hasn't set a release date or price for the new OS.

Seriously... I dont know much about os x yet

But look it up on amazon

you can buy and they will ship as soon as it is available to the public.

amazon seems to jump on things prematurly..

Let me explain since I wasn't clear last time. Amazon.com is guessing. Both at a release date and at price.

Feel free to preorder if you want, but just understand that neither the release date or price has been set.

If the Panther release is any indication, there isn't any need to pre-order anyway. I attended the "Night of Panther" event at a nearby Apple store, and there were more than enough copies for everyone.

Going by the trends of $129.00 and apple at a strategic point in there run here it is safe to bet your money on $129.00 This release is either going to make or break them now that they have alot of "switchers" making way with the mini and what not.
