MacBook equalizing volume?

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook 2.1 Ghz 4GB RAM 120GB HDD, iPod Touch 16GB, iPod Shuffle 1GB, BB 8130
I've got a white MB with Bose Companion 2 speakers. For most songs (from Limewire), it attempts to equalize the volume. For example, when the loud part of the song comes around, it will try to bring it down. This really ruins my blaring music.

Any help?
