since yesterday, i began getting messages while on Safari at seemingly spontaneous times.
i took screenshots.
Picture1-13.png

so if i click "reset to defaults"...
Picture2.png

and i hit "yes"...
Picture3.png

then i enter my password and nothing happens.
it just continues to pop up throughout my web browsing.

also, clicking the (?) button does nothing -- no response what so ever.

around the same time this started happening, i downloaded Flash 10 from Obamicon.Me - Home which probably isn't the most reliable of sources.
did i mess up due to something in that download?
if that's the case, how do i get rid of it?

i don't know why i didn't think of that.

i'll post later to tell you if it's fixed.

thanks.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

It's repaired mine both times I've had problems.

If you're not backing up your system to an external drive yet, you can back up the Keychain. You should be doing this if you're using the Keychain as your primary password storage. I use Secure Notes in the Keychain for all of my password storage.

You can do this by opening Finder - go to your home folder - Library - Keychains - right click on login.keychain - click on Copy login.keychain - then right click on the desktop - select Paste Item - then move the copy to where you would like to store it.

FYI: Next time you might want to be a little more descriptive in the title also - like maybe - Keychain problem or Keychain Not Found issue - some folks won't look at a thread that says "Help" and a title will draw those familiar with that item to your thread.
