Interesting problem connecting macbook to lcd

I have new aluminum macbook and want to connect it to full hd LCD tv. I bought apple's mini display port to DVI and DVI to HDMI. I get the image, but it is blurry although I put it on highest definition 1920x1080. I tried to connect my pc via VGA to the same tv and it worked perfectly.

Had anyone had the same experience?
