iCal / Outlook sync?

MacBook(3,1): C2D 2.2ghz, 4g RAM, 10.7.5; iMac(12,1): 2.5ghz i5, 16gb RAM, 10.9.1; iPhone5S iOS7.04
Okay, I promise I did a search for this and found nothing except 1) iPhone stuff and 2) iCal-to-Google sync, which I don't care about!

Is there a (free) way I can sync my iCal stuff on my MacBook with Outlook @ my workplace? I'd love to be able to do that...

I've searched high and low, here and elsewhere and have found nothing. :(

And even paying for Mobile Me is no good if you can't put iTunes on the PC (workplace restrictions). *sigh*
