Samba Question

I have a Mac book pro running 10.5. When I use one user account to connect to my samba share on a linux box I get an alias on the the desktop. When I use another user account I don't get the alias on the desktop. Any idea how get the alias automatically?

Both user accounts are admins and I'm using the same share.
