We have a Time Capsule set up as our Wireless router, for internet, and MacBook Pro backup. We want to try and access the Time Capsule as an External Hardrive, which apparently can be done.
Our problem is that once we plug an Ethernet cable from the Time Capsule into the MacBook Pro we lose our wireless internet connection.
Why is that?
Is it possible to have the Time Capsule do both, Wireless Router for Internet and Wired for use as an External Hardrive? If so how is this possible through setup?
The other issue is that when we wire it, via Ethernet, iMovie is not able to see it as a Hardrive. We want to be able to use it to store Video we are editing to it. Is this possible?
Again if so please help me with some setup instruction. Thanks for anyones help given.
