I have an iPod that gives me a sad face with a yield sign next to it. I open up iTunes and plug it in but my iTunes wont see the device. I am running iTunes 8. Also I can get it into disk mode but I don't know what to do after that. I would like to see if there is a way to restore the software on the iPod. I really don't care if I lose what I have on the iPod I just want to get it working again. Are there any programs out there that will help me do that? Can I do it on a PC? I also have a PC though I would like to keep it Mac. Help me please.
Thanks
