Well, I'm getting close to hitting the wall with my 2nd Generation MBA. I started editing video and getting into photos fairly heavily and and running out of space on the 128GB SSD and maxing out the 2GB memory. The MBA CPU and quick 1066mhz RAM handles all the tasks just fine as far as speed goes. It's actually quite quick until I've used it for a few hours. Anyhow, besides an external HDD or buying another Mac - does anyone know of any aftermarket companies that are ripping these open (yes, I know it voids the warranty) and upgrading the RAM and/or SSD's? I am aware they are soldered or otherwise permanently affixed to the motherboard. I thought that perhaps someone might have gotten the nerve to snip the connections and professionally do the upgrades for a profit. Anyone see anything online or elsewhere?
Thanks,
Dave
