I recently changed my icons on the Mac, and want to change back to default on all the ones I have changed. Is there any way to do this easily without having to find icons for each again?

Will rebuilding the desktop do it? And, if so, what is the easiest way to do that?

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the reply :)

No, I didn't use any proggie, I manually changed each one, and I don't like the look anymore. If I have to manually change each one back, where can I find the default icons for each app? (Such as sys prefs, imail, itunes etc...)

Hopefully some one know a simplier way. If you did it manually, then you would do a get info on the object. Select the icon and then do a cut (apple command x). That should return it to its default icon.

That is what I did rman - trouble is, I can't find the default icons to cut and paste back this way. Is there any folder where the default icons may be on Mac OSX?

Or is there a quick way to do this?

Normally, when you cut the icon out, it restores itself to the default icon.
