I own a 2007 macbook and I'm not sure what operating system-osx?- but I'm having trouble opening full episodes of shows on NBC.com. I can open Youtube videos yet when I try to open the videos at NBC.com, I get the download screen and see the icons of the episodes but they don't load when I click on them. Is there a codec or application that I need to install? (I already tried to install flashplayer.) Any help would be most appreciated.

Try installing VLC, and if that doesn't work there are some plugins for QuickTime that will do the trick (I think they're all shareware though)

If you haven't installed yet, you need to get Flip4Mac and Perian.

Both will show up on the top google hit.

Flip4Mac takes care of windows media files and Perian just about everything else except flash.

VLC is also a good player to have around.
