regioncode dvd

Hello Mac-forums,
I am on a internship in New Zealand, but my home country is the Netherlands. In the libary I can rent some very nice dvd-movies but I can't watch them because I don't have the right regioncode. Europe has 2 and New Zealand has 4. Where can I change thes options from 2 to 4? I read somewhere you can change it only a limited times, is this true and is there a change to go around this is any way.

The region code can be changed 5 times. Each time you put in a disk with a new region code, you'll get a popup box asking to change the region.

Suggest trying VLC to play the DVD's instead of changing the region code however.
