For a long time now I have created an image or a full backup of Windows on a separate hard drive in case there is a crash. I do backup all of my data, so that part is not an issue. I would like to know if anyone has successfully done a full backup or image of Windows on their iMac, and then been able to restore? I know about Winclone and this is something that I probably should get a move on. I use Time Machine and Time Capsule for my Mac and so I do have a full backup with this configuration, except for Windows in BootCamp.

WinClone is your best bet. I've tried other imaging programs such as Acronis True Image and they won't work to clone or image a Boot Camp partition.

Regards.
