I am a new Mac user. I have quite a few pictures that have the .psd extension from Photoshop Elements on my PC. I would like to transfer them to IPhoto. Any ideas?

right click on it, select Open with and find iPhoto in the applications dir, iPhoto will open and view psds just fine :) once you open a file with iPhoto, it imports automatically

or if you want to open psd files with iPhoto by default, you can right click, select Get info and about two thirds down in the window is a section called open with ... although I think that would be inconvenient, since you probably want to open psds in Elements to edit them
