When I reply to an email I get an automatic line below my text that reads:
"On 02/10/2008, at 10:50 PM, [email protected] wrote:"
Is there a way to cancel it or to modify it to something like:
On 2nd October 2008, at 22:50, [email protected] declared:
Now I did try the following steps:
1. Quit Mail if it's running.
2. Go to /System/Library/Frameworks/Message.framework/Versions/B/Resources/English.lproj and Copy the Delayed.strings file, paste it to the Desktop, then rename it to Default.strings.bak and move the copy back into that folder (Authentication will be required). This is your backup file in case you need to revert to the original settings for Mail.
3. Open the Default.strings file with a text editor such as TextEdit, TextWranger, BBEdit, or TextMate and search for "REPLY_ATTRIBUTION". The string will read: "On %1$@, at %2$@, %3$@ wroten\n";". You can modify this string.
4. Save your changes (authentication required), then you must restart your Mac to have the changes take effect.
However, When i want to save the file i get a message saying i do not have privileges to make changes.
So, what to do now?
