better software for dvd to ipod?

Is there any better software then handbrake? Handbrake takes forever to convert

any encoding software will take time to do the job

Have to agree on louishen regarding this. The time it takes you just have to live with. It all depends on the speed of your computer.

Maybe some other software might make it faster but just marginal. Handbrake is a really good application too. Just be patient
