Eject button doesn't work

Hello everyone. I'm new to Mac, and to the Forums.

I recently purchased an iMac and LOVE it so far.

I only have one issue... when I press the eject button the CD doesnt eject...well it does sometimes, but not every time.

I sometimes either have to drag to trash or go to iTunes and click eject.

Am I missing something here?

How long are you holding the button down for? Hold it until an eject symbol appears on the center of the screen
