iTunes Canada available?

When I try to register for an iTunes account, I am prompted to enter a credit card with an American address. Yet, I understand that iTunes is available in Canada.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any tips.

Are you sure your in the right store? At the bottom of the itunes store home page there is an option to pick different countries. Make sure your on the Canadian one.
