I don't know whats wrong with Macs, what is this that I cant figure for the life of me how to do a simple copy and paste task on my Mac machine? It only pastes the data without the tables. I need it to paste tables. I'm forced to use my windows machine simply because the mac cannot have the feature. Does anyone know a simple work around to this insane problem?

Can you describe what you're trying to do, and what steps, exactly, you are taking?

If I highlight a range of data (eg. more than one cell) in Excel, copy it, switch to Dreamweaver, and paste it into a blank file in Dw, I get a new table with the cells that I copied. That is, if I copied four rows and three columns, I get a new four-row-by-three-column table.

This would be what I'd expect, and what you described.

Dreamweaver also has a "Paste Special" command that asks you how you'd like to past whatever you've copied.

Yes thats what it supposed to do, but it does not, it just dumps data without the cells. It pastes it just like I have it pasted below. This data is grabbed from 2 columns and 7 rows. So "NEW" is is one column and "Battery door" in the other. But as you can see it just dumped it.

Windows machine dumps data and tables automatically, but on all the macs I've tried it only dumps data.

But this phenomenon does not occur only with excel. Try selecting tabular data from any website, and pasting it to dreamweaver or any other application, it will only dump data. Doing "Paste special" only pastes style associated with data, but it doesn't paste tables.
