hi,
im sorry if this has been asked before but i cant find any answers.
im using a 2.53GHz macbook pro with 4GB ram which i bought a month ago and im running windows xp through bootcamp. im currently having a problem loading neverwinter nights 2 and ive tried other games and they dont seem to work either.

everytime i attempt to run the game it comes up with a direct3D device error.
ive installed directx several times and im not sure what the problem is.

can my laptop support directx through bootcamp?

if you need any more information in order to help, i can give it to you.

thankyou.

Have you run the Direct X diagnostics from Windows? If not, do this:

Start -> Run. Type in "dxdiag.exe" without the quotes and follow directions. If your machine passes all the Direct X diagnostics OK, you may need to update your Windows video driver. In order to update the driver, go to the video card maker's web site and download the latest driver for your graphics chipset. (nVidia, ATI) Be sure to download the correct driver for XP.

Regards.
