Unfortunately, the only German bands that ever came over to America was Rammstein and Nena, with the song 99 Luftballons. It's sad, when there are no international singers that bother to come to America, like from Europe.

Oh, hab hier länger nicht mehr reingeschaut, nun zu den Fragen von iWhat:

Ich bin ein Waliser, wohne aber seit dem ich 5 bin in Deutschland - bin also zweisprachig aufgewachsen.
Mit meinen Eltern spreche ich nur Englisch, inzwischen ist es mir aber egal ob ich Englisch oder Deutsch spreche. Aber ich lese nur englische Bücher - Deutsche sind viel zu umständlich geschrieben...
Ich studiere momentan in München, und werde vielleicht später mal zurück nach Großbritannien gehen.

Meine Band gibt es seit ca. 3 Jahren und wir singen hauptsächlich auf Englisch (weil ich die Texte schreibe ;)).

Coole deutsche Bands (die auch auf Deutsch singen) sind z.B:

-Sportfreunde Stiller (rock)
-Tocotronic (alt. rock)
-Die Ärzte (punk)
-Wir sind Helden (pop)
-Silbermond (pop)

Viel spaß beim reinhören!

Und iWhat - komm mal zum Oktoberfest... ist eindeutig das beste an München :)

That should be:

"Ich kann es kaum erwarten in der Zukunft mal nach Deutschland zu gehen, um einige Biere zu trinken".


iWhat: Waliser & Engländer sind nicht so verschieden. In Deutschland denken die meisten Leute dass Waliser und Schotten auch Engländer sind...
