To play wmv files I downloaded Windows Media Player for Mac. It came in a .bin file. Which I extracted using unarchiver it produces a .sitx file. Which I agian tried extracting but it shows an error saying this file cannot be extracted with this program. I downloaded WMP from two three sources but got the same file so same issues. And I don't prefer flip4mac as everytime you try and play a video it starts importing which takes time.

You need "Stuffit" in order to uncompress the Windows Medial Player *.sitx file.

Windows Media Player 9 for OS X can be downloaded direct from Microsoft. The file is downloaded as "Windows Media.sitx" from MS. However, even MS recommends downloading flip4mac for Quicktime instead.

Regards.
