Hi,

I have two G-Tech firewire 800 1.5tb drives attached to my macbookpro - I use one for working and the other as a backup, but I've been backing up files one by one manually as I complete them. Is there any utility that will enable me to quickly compare the contents of the two drives to ensure that all files have been backed up and with the latest file version?

Thanks so much for any help.

Thanks - I've just downloaded and looked at CCC but I can't see that it will compare one drive's content against the other - it's showing that it wants to copy everything - can you suggest anything else that will just compare the contents of two drives and highlight the differences?
Thanks for your help!

to the best of my knowledge there isnt a program like that.

what i would do is select everything you want backed up, ie folder and whatnot then run that task on a schedule. hourly, daily, weekly, monthly.
