AppleWorks - where's it gone?

Hi, my mum recently upgraded her Mac to Panther and she uses the spreadsheet in AppleWorks extensively and was extremely disheartened to find it didn't come with it. Where'd it go?

Is it something that now has to be bought as an extra? If yes, where's the cheapest place to buy a copy that you nice friendly people can recommend?

AppleWorks is not a part of Panther. If you have the restore disk that came with you system. You can retrieve the application using Pacifist.

Yes, although you won't need Pacifist if you're looking to get back all of your applications. After installing Panther, you should insert your machine's "Additional Software" disks to install all of the other applications that originally came with your computer.

So I wasn't the only one with the problem!?

LOL - No Lee, I think your problem was unique. In this case, it sounds like he clean-installed Panther, in which case the additional applications that came with his machine need to be reinstalled via the iBook software disk.
