Something happened in Safari... I shut down (hard) and restarted. Although the password box came up, I had to blind type in the password, hit return, and then the regular desktop image, toolbar, stickies, etc. came up. Looks normal, sort of. Font's not exactly right and too large. (Kind of like the alien not quite fitting the farmer's skin in MIB). But in every application, as soon as you get to a drop down menu, there is no text. Maybe an icon, but no words. Though, on some menus if you guess where something is, and click on it, it goes...so, it's as if the text is hidden but the operation is still actionable. Also, Safari won't open up at all from the icon, or from the Finder/Applications. If I want to shut down, clicking on the upper left Apple icon just drops down a blank menu...
Should I try to do a restore? What happened?
