When I installed Leopard ovr a year ago, I also installed the developer tools. I guess I check marked everything and now I want to save some disk space. Is it safe to delete that entire folder?

The smart thing to do is make a complete backup of your entire hard drive before deleting that folder. It's probably safe to do so, but why take chances?

So if I've backed my system up in time machine I should be ok to remove the developer folder.
