What it can't be did I find a flaw with Macs. Asking around I guess this happens alot. I have a Mac book, brand new and the head set jack on the left where you plug in at sucks! All headphones slide out and if you move the cord a little it comes out or starts playing on the laptop speakers.

Any suggestions or is this just how it is? I am sad, I thought this mac was flawless. :(

Are you using the correct size? My headphones are a little too long and are the same but earphone have a smaller jack and they are perfect.

Mine take the standard 3.5" head phone jack (ie same as ipod headphones). Mine goes in and requires a slight tug to come out. It's as if i'm just plug them into my ipod.
