Hi Guys,
I have a problem which is so annoying it is beyond a joke.
I work in an office with Dual 2.3 GHz PowerPC G5's which both randomly get the curtain and freeze. We have tried everything.
Swapped RAM
Swapped Harddrives
Reinstalled one of them
and nothing is working.
The computers just stop. It can be while they are working busily or just sitting there. The curtain comes down (sometimes) and the apple warning comes up and then kind of "jolts" across the screen. Sometimes some code comes down the left hand side of the screen too. Then the fans start whirring very loud until the computer is turned off.
My theory is CS2. It seems to crash when that is open (which is all the time in a design studio).
I have installed CS3 on my faulty computer but can not cleanly uninstall CS2. It has the uninstallers there but they never actually do anything.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
Please help
