ok so i have a TS_video and the TS_ audio of a movie on my comp. it was ripped onto the computer from the actual DVD disc... and i want to burn it, but i only have idvd and imovie. is there a way i can do this??? or do i have to buy something like popcorn or toast?

I think you can burn a video DVD with the trial version of Toast. Get it here: Roxio Toast 10 Titanium - CD & DVD Burning
Or you can use the free tool, ffmpegx ffmpegX a DVD, SVCD, VCD, CVD, VOB, DivX, XviD, H.264, PSP, iPod, MP4, MOV encoder for Mac OSX
There you should be able to make a image file of the folders. When you have the image file you can burn it using Disk Utility.

You can also make a burn folder then use disk utility to burn it.
