I'm trying to nail down a problem with my iMac, I'm suspecting a faulty internal hard drive which I plan to have upgraded anyway, but I'm also trying to rule out any other hardware issues.

Anyway, I've run the Apple Hardware Test several times, most of shown no problems, and it's been no problem every time I run it with no external hardware connected but the mouse and keyboard. I was trying to isolate it to a device by plugging in one device at a time and then running the test. I've only got two errors, but each error was different and each time, I had everything plugged in to my system.

Here's the two errors, if you know what they mean, that would be great, it would be better if someone can point me to a chart or something I can use to decode these in case I get different errors on future tests.

Thanks.

These were all the extended test btw.

First error, which I do think is a Hard Drive error, is:

4MHD/2/40000002:0x7ee50490

Second error was:

4YDC/2/40000002/0x7eea4f90

Any help will be appreciated.
