hi everyone, I hope you can help me. :headphone
I have a powerbook. I've had it for about 3 years. I live in the u.k, meaning that the dvd disks over here are region 2. now, in the past 3 years I have played a few REGION 1 dvds on my mac. Region 1 is what the usa uses. every time I switch between region disks, my mac dvd player, changes its setting. I don't know how many of you have watched different region dvds on your macs, but the mac only lets you change regions a maximum of 5 times. (something i've never understood)
last week I changed to region 1, and it seems ive used up my last go. it looks like i can never watch region 2 dvds again. i rebooted my whole mac, but the dvd player stays the same. I dont know what to do.
is there a way of resetting the dvd player or anything? anything i can do that anyone knows of? i'm sorry if this has been covered in other threads any feedback will be greatly appreciated. many thanks everyone. :biohazard
