help i cant get my imac to connect to my router

i keep trying to connect and it keeps telling me that my password is incorrect but i know that isnt true cause i use that same password to access my network on my pc


i have even tried going through the diffeerent encryptions that my router can use and so far it all has the same problem


i select my network from the list that it brings up then i select my encryption and enter my password then it tells me that the password is not correct to access my network can anyone tell me what is going on

does it connect ok if you turn off the security?
