OK, here is the problem. This has been going on for years but I finally have had enough. Need ideas!
I've got on older Sony camcorder that I really like. Been using it for years. The problem is, I always have to buy new firewire cords or the Mac G4 ibook won't see the camera. I plug it in with a new cord and for a while is works, and after a while, I start getting more and more times where the screen tells me "No Camera Connetected" BUT IT IS CONNECTED!
If I buy a new firewire cord, I maybe get 2 months with it before the problem starts again. I don't think its the camera because I had all the plugs on the camera replaced a few years back and that didn't seem to help
Any ideas?
Or any other way to get my tape into the computer???
