Resize Pixels

Please don't laugh at this question, seems like I cannot find any answers for this, which tells me it should be easy to figure out. But I am getting so frustrated on not being able to figure out how to do this simple little thing on my mac. I am able to view how many pixels, just can't change them. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

It would help if you told us what program you using to do this with.

Your Mac's Specs
iMac Alum - 24" Display - 4GB RAM
Try this....

Open your image in Preview, then go to TOOLS and 4th option down is adjust size. You can do one or multiple images.
