Just wondering if anyone has a guess when a whole new redesign for the iMac will happen?

I'm pretty sure this has been posted many times before. Bookmark it and check it out every so often.

I think that the iMac will get a speed bump so and DDR3. I wouldn't hold out for quadcore or any external changes anytime soon.

yea ordered a 20 myself, think it will be late next year for a design change

it's not the design I'm worried about updating -I love the current one, its the quad core & memory updates I don't want to miss out on.. If i miss the updates by a few weeks, I'm going to freak out.

I'm going to say yes on quad core and DDR3 in march-ish. Also plan on a change to nVidia chipsets (9600 would be my guess). Shame, ATI drivers work so much better since they're coded by apple. Guess we'll see.

As for the design change, I would hazard a guess that the current aluminum body is going to stick for quite some time, although a 30" imac would be very interesting although improbable.

I wouldn't expect a redesign until late 2010 at the earliest.
