Short name change on Macbook Pro

Hi there I am new to the forum here. I just purchased a Macbook Pro and I would like to change the Short name on the USER logo to represent me. Is there an easy way to do this? I have already changed the Admin in System Pref' to me with my password etc. However the short name is still the other guys in the finder under User.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Easiest way to do this is to create a new user account with your name etc, make sure you're set as a system admin, then log out, log in under your new name, copy anything over from the old account home dir you need (look in /users/...) then delete the old account. There may be a better way but this works for me.
