I'm using MP4 Converter to rip my DVDs so I can just watch them on my Mac. But every time I rip the DVDs there's always something wrong: it falls out of sync or some other issue happens. Does anyone know of a good DVD ripper for Mac? I'd like to be able to rip in MP5 so I have the option of watching them on my PS3.

HandBrake

Handbrake can help you convert the video files to playable files for your PS3 if I am not entirely mistaken. Give it a shot, it is free afterall :)

I have tried handbrake, but it took a lot of time (1.5 hrs) to extract movie and convert it into required (Xvid) format.

Can u suggest any handbrake configuration which can extract the movie in lesser time???

Not without a faster processor and/or more RAM. :)
