I have a G3 and I have recently bought some Ram for it from ebay. The specs of the Ram seem to match all the specs I can find for the G3 yet the Ram is not recognised. The spec I have is :
Warranty: Lifetime
Size: 1GB (2x512MB)
Type: PC100 SDRAM
Condition: New
Feature: Non-ECC, Unbuffered
FSB/Speed: 100MHz
Pins: 168
Cas Latency: 2
Density: 32x8 (Low)

Is this the right stuff? Cheers

Are you saying the machine will not boot or its not in the system profiler. Make shure it is seated all the way down and the little side latches go into the notches.

Update: Is it a stick of Infineon...They are mostly PC only and will not work in a MAC.
