now ive had my mac book for about a yr now.... and ive done lil goof ball videos on imovie but they always have static... now im not very computer savy so does anyone know how i eliminate the static or atleast lower it? thanxz for any help

I'm not sure what you are saying. If the source is from a video camera then I would expect nice results. Perhaps posting a frame will help us understand the issue. Perhaps you need to deinterlace the video.

no its not from a camcorder... its recorded directly from the macbook.. and then when i play it back i hear this sound in the background that is very annoying. here is a link to a video i made... Crumbs » Web Intro

I think the static is caused by bad lighting. The bright background is causing the metering to be thrown off. In fact I think some light from a source behind you is scattering onto the camera lens too.
I'm not sure what the audio problem is. It didn't sound like the sound of a hard drive, so I suspect a remote source, maybe an air conditioner or fridge. Trying changing rooms and close the door. These mics can pick up a lot.
YouTube has some tips including lighting. I'm sure you can find more from general users and via Google.
