Is there anyway of saving my contacts onto my simcard?

Lately i have had no money, so i couldn't afford to renew my mobileme. bummer.

Then i accidently delete my mobileme account as it was no use at the time, and hey presto, Contacts gone.

i don't have the money for mobileme, so I'm hoping a restore from back-up will sort it out.

That being the case, i would like to save on my sim to save further annoyance.

Is it possible?

All your contacts should be in your address book on your Mac, so next time you synch through itunes they will be transferred to your iphone

My iPhone has the option to import contacts from the SIM card, so I assumed the phone saved them to the SIM card when I entered them. The few times I have used the option it has worked just fine.

It's under the "Mail, Contacts, Calender" Preference.
