Connecting Windows Laptop to Airport Extreme

I currently have a mac mini, imac and macbook all getting internet from my airport extreme. I just got a new room mate and he has a windows XP laptop and for the life of me can not get it to even SEE the network. He can connect to multiple other networks and get online fine. I have tried changing my encryption but have had not luck.

Has anybody else seen this issue or know a fix? Thank you.

- make sure your XP has the latest drivers for its wifi card.

- on the extreme try ch 8 first and then try to connect then 10 or 11 if that doesnt work

- on the extreme try using WEP as your security

that should fix your problem

if it doesnt work after that then there is a utility from Apple for the airport that is made for windows you can get it here.
